Now that Arnold is out of the Governor's office, what do folks think if his performance? I read an essay by the guy last month, and I think he brought up an important point that state employee pensions were excessive. I also know he got his azz whooped by the nurses. Don't know much else.

What do you think?

He could give the Democrats lessons on being pathetic, even more pathetic than they are now.

What I think of his overall performance would not pass the TOS here so I will say instead that I am comforted by the vision of his teeth-grinding frustration and ego hit over the fact that his future political aspirations can only be satisfied by running for president of Austria.

And isn't it spelled "Gropenator?"

Arnold did exactly what I thought he would do.......a big, fat nothing! Just like most of the Republicans. He practically handed the keys to the Governor's office over Jerry Brown the day that he won the election.

Arnold was the poster boy for the Republicans effort to amend the Constitution to allow foreign-borns to become POTUS. But let a gente du color become President and they go bat-tihs crazy trying to prove that he isn't a natural born citizen.

Ok, now don't hold anything back on my account. Tell me how you really feel..

I was considering him a moderate republican, so I wanted to hear how he was received. For what is worth, I think Arnold is a pretty smart guy, but perhaps not smart enough? I don't live in California, so I really haven't been paying close attention. Was he that despised?

He started out great but after just a few months it turned out he really was the only Kennedy named Arnold.

The main reason he was elected was that he promised to lower skyrocketing vehicle registration fees. He kept his promise. Actually that was about the only promise he made, the rest was just typical propaganda pep talks. Here in CA we're very big about voting for expensive social programs but even bigger about voting against the means to pay for them. All in all he sucked but considering what he had to work with I suppose he could have done a lot worse.

Now we have Moonbeam back to save the day and finish what he started. Never a dull day in Sunny California.
