I thnik that first we should cut aid to many other countries before israel really. Egpt seems to be one coming upo. I can't for the life of me understand why we would aid conutires supporting our declared enemmies. Not just miltary iad either.
Finally, someone serious about cutting the budget. Of course, it doesn't stand a snow ball's chance of happening, but, I applaud the suggestion and am actually writing to his office to tell him so:
GOP senator favors cutting US aid to Israel - Politics - msnbc.com (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/41313690/ns/politics/ - broken link)
Rand's father Ron Paul has advocated for this as well.
A benefit of the apron strings being cut, would be a freer Israel to pursue policy without our interference.
Absolutely. What I find funny is that a growing number of Zionist movements in Israel are advocating exactly this position but we never hear about them in our press. Yet if you read the Jerusalem Post or Haaretz, you can read these sentiments almost daily.
What are you talking about? Israel takes our money and then does whatever they want to anyway.
That's a blanket statement I disagree with.
Regardless, are you for or against continuing this arrangement?
