Exactly.
Lets see...cheaper dollars = food price inflation, future food shortages, oil getting more expensive, people in debt and unemployed all over, more expensive healthcare, college education etc,

Did I leave anything out?

Does are future look rosy or what?

Monitary policy most certainly affects inflation/stagnation/deflation. While not the sole determinant it does absolutely play a role, a large one at that.

No, higher demand, poor harvests, bad weather and improper use of food crops for non-food purposes (like ethanol and bio-fuels) causes food price inflation.

You want to blame Bernanke for that? Yeah, okay, whatever.

We need a special Doom & Gloom Apocalypse Now Armageddon It smilie just for people like you.

When you have Real Inflation, caused by currency issues, the price of everything rises, and yes, that includes wages, salaries, benefits, bonuses, holiday pay, sick pay, houses, cars, fuel, health care, clothing, cosmetics, jewelry, tickets for sporting events, concerts, shows, all electronics, all building materials, everything thing you see and everything you touch.

If the demand for all those material things are down, and the demand for food stays the same, then you can still have inflation in food.

There should be some charts to show the demand for various goods overtime.

I'll get back tomorrow on this.
