Obama's 2011 Budget Tax Proposals: President Obama Proposes Tax Cuts - ABC News

The budget overall includes more than $140 billion in tax cuts "designed to ease the burdens that middle class families face in caring for children, paying for college, and saving for retirement," according to the administration's budget "Greenbook."
The White House is seeking to make permanent the tax cuts introduced by the Bush administration in 2001 and 2003, for individuals making less than $200,000 per year and families earning under $250,000.

Thanks - I thought that the $363K figure has something to do with Obama's proposal...

No, just trying to understand what you're getting at. Until Congress acts, how can I know whether my taxes are affected or not? If they don't act, my taxes will go up just like everyone else who pays taxes. That's a simple fact, not some "anti-Obama" spin...

What are they waiting for? They've ignored the issue for 21 months now, what makes you so sure they will suddenly come to their senses?
