If anybody on this board makes over $363,000... They wouldn't have time to post on this board...

I agree with you there. It's kind of funny, actually.

In regards to being a business owner, our thoughts are to be conservative and to not spend too much right now.
What I am saying , is investing in your own business should be more important than your personal politics.....That is the wise business owner that reinvests, instead of taking all the profits he can, paying taxes on all that earned income.
The proof that business IS buying will be reflected in capital spend numbers due out end of this month .

To get back to the thread topic for a moment, those who are incensed by the "cash hoarding" should be pleased to see this:
U.S. companies buy back stock in droves as they hold record ...

I'm sure the results will be much better than "hoarding" the cash for possible future expansion...

The Republican party doesn't care about you or anybody else except their own... any middle class American who defends the Republican party is setting themselves up for a letdown and betrayal...

I apologize for my ignorance. I don't know what you guys think I am "pretending" to be, but I have no idea what the $363K, or is it $353K, numbers represent. Please enlighten me!

What Would Happen if the Bush Tax Cuts Expire - WSJ.com

For most people, these higher rates are moot. They only apply to the highest of flyers. Fewer than 1% currently pay the 35% rate and fewer than 4% even pay 33%, says the IRS. As for the old 39.6% rate: Adjusted for inflation, you'd only pay that now on any income over $363,000 a year.

Tell me about it! I see it everyday...they bash any and all blogs and discussions as a "waste of time" ...yet go into their home, and Fox is running on the TV 24-7. ( Rush and Beck on the Car radio on their way to the Bank or the religious revival).

Oh, I get it now - without the Bush cuts, the 39.6% bend point would now be $363K. But how do you reconcile that with Obama raising taxes on everyone over $250K? You seem to be saying that only those over $363K would be affected by his increase...
