Beck wants you to step up for your country, but he doesn't want people in other countries doing it. The other day he was decrying peaceful revolutions that overthrew communist governments. Now he's warning you against muslims. Yes, yes, fight for your rights americans, be afraid of your govenrments, but if 'furiners' do it...be afraid!
I love how he thinks he knows the purpose and drive behind a billion people. Is it part of the Mormon beliefs to be an arrogant sh)thead?

They're overthrowing their country for their religion. Just like they did in Iran.
Glen Beck's show today focused on how the purpose of all these uprising in the Middle East is to establish a row of dominoes from West Africa to Indonesia in which all non-Muslim governments will fall and a system of government known as caliphate governance will be established. Their intention is to also drag Europe into this chain. Is this remotely possible??
All you have to do is rotate this around to see how silly it is. Ask yourself this, if you saw a news article saying 'Christian's aim to unite world under violent Christian empire'. Then this article want on to say that Christians in France and America wanted to unite the Christian world, and that there would soon be a Franco-American state. That these Christians killed every day, that French Christians murder Muslims in Algeria trying to hold onto their Christian empire, and that American Christian's killed a million people in Vietnam, in an unprovoked attack to expand the Christin empire. The
Christian's believe in one true God, thus no other faith can exist with Christianity, so they won't rest until the world is there's.
You'd know this was rubbish, because even though they are both Christian majority states, France and the USA don't really get along. Also, wars fought by these two Christian countries were more pragmatic than faith based. So really, the idea of a Christian empire falls down, because different states have different interests, and disagree, and are pragmatic. Just because some Christians killed a million people, doesn't mean all Christians are killers.
Its the same with Muslim states, they are individual states, with their own issues and problems. Just look at when Egypt and Syria tried to unite, they failed even to unite two states! People refer to Iran, but what has Iran done exactly, who has it invaded?

In Iran a mix of Marxists and Islamic folk and just normal people overthrew a slightly mad dictator, who had been put in power and was supported by the West. This man, the Shah, has an official hat policy, whereas one might be arrested for wearing the wrong sort of hat. I think it was a fair time to have a revolution.
Although the Ottoman empire was pretty peaceful for 400 years. Much more so than America, Britain, France, Belgium, Germany(Prussia), Spain, Portugal, Serbia, etc.
Yes - diversity will do that. Muslims DO want peace, it's just that they believe there can be peace only after the whole world is united under Islam and Sharia law. So yes, they want peace, when there is no more Judaism, no more Christianity, no more Hinduism, Buddism, etc then there will be peace they believe because everyone will believe the same.
Unfortunately, until they control the whole world, they understand there cannot be peace and harmony, when people don't all think the same, there is strife.

And now the mullahs make sure everyone is wearing the right sort of hat. Women for example can be beaten to death if they don't wear some ugly brown rag. And people can be beaten for having a beer. And killed if they don't believe in allah.

It's useful to separate the points :
a: The current Iranian regime isn't very nice
b: We deal happily with lots of states that aren't very nice, its not really our concern
c: The actions of the Iranian people and state make a lot of sense in terms of their political position and history.

Again, I hate to bang on about it, but 400 years of relative peace under the Ottoman empire, despite the large number of Jews and Christians living in it. It really does seem to suggest that what your saying doesn't stand up to reality.
