That's really not true. There are many on "the Left" who don't label the whole tea party movement as racists, bigots, homophobes, etc. And YOUR thread on the 71% of ALL AMERICANS who think the GOP should listen to the tea party movement actually contradicts what you're saying here. You are trying to generalize about "leftists", when you vehemently renounce such generalizations about the "right". That's contradictory. Either you think that political factions are made up of individuals, and an individual expression does not represent the whole of the faction, whether that faction is right or left, or you don't believe that. In which case, you cannot argue it with any integrity on behalf of the tea party movement. You seem to want your cake, the cupcakes, the pies and the pastries, and want to eat them all.
Oh please, just go through this forum of all the anti-TP threads and see what some on the Left have said.
And let's not forget how the media, in mass, tried to paint the TP as racist, violent, etc. It is most certainly true (the effort by the media/left), but fortunately, the efforts failed to discredit the movement.
WASHINGTON - February 3 - Common Cause's 40 year history of holding power accountable has been marked by a commitment to decency and civility - in public and private. So we are of course outraged to find that a few of those attending the events around a gathering Common Cause helped to organize Sunday near Palm Springs voiced hateful, narrow-minded sentiments to an interviewer in the crowd.
We condemn bigotry and hate speech in every form, even when it comes from those who fancy themselves as our friends.
They don't even engage in the lame excuse the violent racists attending the event were "forced" to spew their hate by being asked a simple question.
Waiting to see the left on this forum call out the racist in that video. They have called Tea party members racist for much less or no reason at all other then not supporting Obama
America's "Pitifully Dopey Buddies" All Over The Media Yet Again !!!

SourD !!! ... Precisely Right !
Indeed !..... Just one more shocking example of just how acutely bonkers so many of the pitiful extreme left muppets truly appear to be ! ... What ? ... ARRRRRRRRRRRGH !
Bloody Right ... These foolish blokes had better be extremely careful what they wish for !!!

Can you imagine if a person on the Right or a TP had said this? OMG, it would be a feeding frenzy on the Left....but now, all we have are crickets.
I really don't care what they say as long as they are peaceful. What did you expect from Common cause?I am not part of the tea aprty but feel they have lead the way in peaceful protest and now others have to keep that standard or lose face as the japanese say.
It's amazing how dumb Americans are since the process of Impeachment literally means to indict and remove from office to one who has been elected! Supreme Court justices are not elected!
I see what you mean, it is scary how little people know.
"The House on Friday impeached a federal judge imprisoned for lying about sexual assaults of two women in the first such vote since impeaching former President Bill Clinton a decade ago."

I already told him the Congress has jurisdiction over the courts and can impeach a judge if the situation arises - and that would include a SCOTUS judge....he hasn't returned after telling us how dumb Americans are.
Video included
If a white person says that a black judge should be "strung up", is that racist
No racism there. No violence from the left
Well, to be fair, there are always wackjobs that could not fill a phone booth with other like-minded individuals, so they glom onto events like this.
however, the pure, raw hatred the left expresses for people on the right is a common thing to see. Its that when they display their disagreements with them politically or ideologically, they feel the need to take it down to a personal level.
