theblogprof: Video: Peace-Loving Anti-Capitalist Liberal Protesters Call for Lynching of Clarence Thomas

Video included
If a white person says that a black judge should be "strung up", is that racist

No racism there. No violence from the left

It goes deeper that that. Thomas is black. If you don't agree with him, or don't blindly follow everything he says without question, you are, by (some people's) definition, a racist.

At least they didn't call him a 'Mucaca' like senator Rober Allen did the Indian photog.

Your name calling is an oxymoron. You can't be "liberal" and "anti-capitalist" at the same time.

Thomas is an Uncle Tom, therefore it's okay to say he should be lynched.

There are extremists on both sides of the political spectrum and it is wrong for me to describe the spectrum in binary terms for there are shades of gray everywhere. People don't easily fit into just two opposing groups. Racism and violence have never been attributes of just one group, but the fact that some see things that way is rather telling and dangerous.

There was nothing in the first 2 minutes of the first video that would make one believe the people protesting were anti-capitalist but I'll bet that adjective was added by the website to gain attention to it. The text by the second video implies that liberals have KKK roots, something that I would doubt until my dying day. While I'm mostly indifferent to Mr. Thomas, I find the link objectionable for its divisiveness and lack of real insight.

Default Koch Bros Protesters Call for Thomas to be "strung up", "tortured", "put him back in the fields"

Oh, now this is so telling, especially after the calls for a moderate "tone". I don't think these violent racists got the memo.

It is painfully obvious that the anti-American and racist factions in the US are mainly the left. They better be careful what they wish for.
