Isreal is not worried about Democracy coming to Egypt. They (as is the EU & the US) are worried about who or what comes power in Egypt.

Mubarak was not a puppet for the US. He came to power after the assassination of Sadat from the position of VP. Mubarak had elections (just on one ran against him). Egypt got aid from the US and from Saudia Arabia. Its just Mubarak took a 99% commision. But hey he was the elected president
