these 3 scumbags worked for mcdonald's.. so now mcdonald's is somehow responsible for their after-hours activities?

The family of Vincent Kee, the man who was branded with a swastika last April, is suing the McDonald's Restaurant in Farmington for failing to protect Kee and the community.

Specifically, the plaintiffs contend that when the McDonald's franchise owners hired Paul Beebe, Jesse Sanford and William Hatch, they did so in violation of McDonald's USA's own standards, putting the public at risk.

I feel bad for Lee. This is your typical leftist lawyer suing Mickey D's for hiring ex cons, and probably has other lawsuits against companies for not hiring ex cons.

i wouldn't doubt it.

not hiring felons -> discrimination lawsuit. hiring felons -> lawsuit of a whole different sort.

their main 'crime' here appears to be their deep pockets.

I could understand if he came into the store and the cashiers grabbed him and then did it while they were "on the clock".

But this is beyond ridiculous. They are responsible for what they did on their own time.
Lawsuits have really gotten out of hand..anything for a buck, anything.

Yeah, I hope this one gets tossed out. I hope the judge who hears the case fines the lawyer who brought the suit heavily.

I'm no fan of corporations, but come on, I don't see how any of this is even in the same zip code of being the fault of McDonalds.

Lawsuits are out of hand. So if someone commits a crime in a Dallas Cowboys jersey the victim can then sue the Cowboys.
