Basically this is a iisue blacks will have to solve because whites now wouldn't touch the subject with a ten foot pole as the saying goes.
Well, this is a societal problem that has far reaching ramifications for all citizens in the country. A widening wealth and achievement gap isn't just a black or white problem with only one cause and only one group of people affected.
So one person who up to this point I'd never heard of is "my people"? There's idiots everywhere...
Now, if we were talking about the general disdain/taboo of homosexuality in black culture then we'd have something to talk about (in a separate thread). As your point stands, its somewhat unwarranted.
I've ALWAYS been against the "college for all" movement. It's full of delusions. Yeah, I said it. Delusions. There are kids of all colors (many of them black, sorry to be so blunt) who simply aren't destined to be erudite or high-income, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're trash and have no place in society. Well, some are pretty darn hopeless, but some are salvagable. We just need to do it in the right ways, with an ounce of respect here, a dash of creativity there, etc. The delusion-drenched “college for all” movement is probably a brainchild of the student loan industry.
Again, No One is hopeless.
