Last month, former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty (R) made waves when he suggested that he would reinstate the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy if elected President. This morning, Pawlenty went a step further, telling me that he would support rescinding the funds necessary for the Department of Defense to implement the repeal.
Wonk Room » Pawlenty: Rescinding Funds To Implement DADT Repeal Is ‘A Reasonable Step’

What an obvious pandering to anti-gay social conservatives.

Hey Tim! It's over, bud! And you lost!

Most politicians against gays are usually extremely gay themselves. They are also spiteful narcissists who cannot stand for others to have freedoms that they themselves are too cowardly to express or fight for.

Nice to see the Republicans, once again and as promised, concentrating on jobs and the economy.

He Tim, it doesn't take money to end DADT, it might be nice, but it ain't necessary. I mean how much does it cost to for the Commander and Chief to just say;
As of (date) gays are allowed to serve in them military without prejudice.

Yeah, those wild and crazy gay groups bringing up the former Governor of Minnesota and one of the main group of Republican presidential hopefuls for 2012! I just can't believe how off the wall those gay groups are to pick on such an "unknown".

He can hope all he wants, but he isn't even on most conservative's radar.

I like a lot of things about Tim Pawlenty, but he's slightly less interesting than Al Gore and a sure looser against the charismatic BO. The next Republican candidate has to sell painful belt-tightening at a time when stealing from those too young to vote is seen as the convenient answer to every problem. Pawlenty isn't the guy.
