How is Kristol (or in your case Kriston) a Conservative? I've never seen such evidence from that pundent as Conservatism.
I listen to Beck on the radio on the way to work, and see him from time to time at the "war room" at work. He always impresses me with his knowledge and understanding of the Constitution, the founders, the founding and other topics of great import to our times. A national treasure, who, no doubt, will receive much fire the vermin-left who hate all that is good and decent (like OC).
- I haven't seen anyone as hellbent on ideological purity since the earnest, capital-C communists I encountered in my youth. ("That guy? He's a Trotskyist sell-out, he's not a real Communist.") That was also, of course, the explanation of why Communism failed - what was realized was never the real, true Communism, because that so would work.
Anyway, a pox on Glenn Beck for making me agree with Kristol.

I don't know how I got sucked into this left wing right wing crap. That is all everything on this board always seems to wind up. Like everything in life can simply be classified as either left or right. I believe Kristol is full of crap. I also believe Beck is even more full of crap. They are both right of center.
Fear mongering perhaps because those falsely arguing that the aforementioned folks are Conservative seem to have no idea what true Conservatism even means?

That is how the rest of the world sees them. "Nazis were left-wing" is an ideological point that's pretty much confined to US right-wing fringe groups, apparently because they can't cope with the fact that their ideology (like any ideology) can be abused.
