Well, it is her body after all. Who do you suggest control it?
If a woman doesn't want to get pregnant, and since it is her body --- and a woman has complete control and the right to do what she wants with her body --- the preponderance is on her to take necessary precautions to prevent unwanted pregnancy in her body.
Again, if you are soooo against abortion, get together with your other pro-life buds and adopt all of those children who would otherwise be abused or neglected by "parents" who should not have had them in the first place.
Then get together and support all of those teen (and younger) mothers who are ill equipped to take care of themselves, much less a child.
Then explain how much of a blessing conception is to a rape and incest victim.
Then stop bitching an moaning about welfare.
Women don't get abortions because no one will adopt their children. Go to any adoption agency in America and ask how long the wait is for a new born.

Adopting families are waiting for newborns, but hey we have millions of children over the age of 3 looking for homes. Some children don't ever get adopted at all.
So those "adopting" families are only excerising their selfishness when they pass up a perfectly healthy and well adjusted child so they can raise a newborn child. Why don't these "caring" families work to get the millions of children adopted first, instead of waiting for a newborn to be born.
