Yet you started a thread essentially guaranteed to bring out the patriotism you loathe in droves.

Why not try something different? Act like an adult. Make the best of the time you have left in this horrible place then migrate to your perceived Euro-paradise. You'll save yourself a lot of grief and argument.

Hardly. I was in Russia post glasnost. You could be an astrophysicist living in poverty. The only people with money were the black marketeers and the government, both of which were indistinguishable from the eyes of the masses. That culture of fear remains and they've got the dead bodies of journalists to prove it.

Nothing they were living out was communism. It was cronyism, and that same cronyism plagues America. Constitution be damned if Goldman Sachs thugs want their license to steal, they'll run our government to get it. The difference only being the method of theft and the drama level of the thuggery. Vinnie won't break your knee caps, and neither will vladimir. They'll just screw with the commodities market and broker the king makers. Much less messy, and you can do it anonymously from remote control.

Its not perceived, I experienced it first hand.

What I don't understand is why the poster doesn't leave now? Surely higher education must be better in Europe. Something isn't adding up with our friend. Perhaps this is the root of his anger. Perhaps he isn't/can't/won't leave even after he graduates. This is puzzling.

Yes, I am right.

Necessity has been the reason for innovation way before MIT grads started to make flying cars.

That's because it's a terrible point. Nobody is talking about guarantees except you, because that's absolutely not what the argument is about.
