P.C. Air, which will fly to several Asian destinations starting in April, had its first training session this week for 30 recruits, including four from "the third sex."

Thailand is known for its tolerance for transvestites and transsexuals, known locally as "katoeys" or "ladyboys."
Thai airline trains transsexual flight attendants (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2011/02/11/AR2011021101076.html - broken link)

Very interesting. And how ironic that it's called "P.C. Air", which stands for "Peter Chang", but as most of us know, stands for "politically correct" in the U.S.

PC Air hasn't launched yet. One of the investors works in Real Estate and the other is a fortune teller. Neither has airline expericnce. I'd be surprised if they last.

Considering the number of shemales in Thailand, Not surprised. Honestly, these days, if it's got a decent rack it's probably a dude.

Don't get me wrong. Thailand is a fun place when you're young but there is some really freaky stuff going on there. By that, I mean that shemales don't even warrant a raised eyebrow compared to what you might see in Bangkok.

Disgusting. The Thais are obviously a mentally sick nation, so Thailand is one place I definitely won't be visiting.

It doesn't bother me one way or another though in the last ten years I've spent about four months in Thailand. Not enough to really know the place but enough for me to be sure that it's a great country, with wonderful people, great food, and a huge amount of history. It's also one of the most accepting countries in the world sometimes that has rough edges but more often then not it makes Thailand a better place. I will never be gay or transgender, I'm just not wired that way, but lots of Thais are and if this makes their lives slightly better then let it be so.

I always knew there'd be a use for unisex bathrooms.

Times are definitely changing.

Default Maybe I can get a job as a pilot with them?

I never flew a plane, but I've been in them.

And I look like a pilot - I've been asked if I was a pilot (You know, when you meet someone and they say "Let me guess, you're a pilot".."You look like a pilot")

And I can certainly dress like one, walk like one, and I can learn all the jargon.

I'd be pretty good passing as a pilot.

So, I'd say that it would be in fairness that they give me a job as a pilot.

And, I don't think I should be required to tell people that I first meet that I actually can't fly...If they accept me as I am when they first meet me, they should accept me for what I really am....someone that can't fly a frigging plane.

Where do I get in touch with this company?
