Well, if those are areas where even the Police and Firemen won't go - someone start a fire and everyone stand back. Problem solved.

When someone moves from a country where honor killings and stoning are tolerated and encouraged to retain their culture and heritage, then what do you expect when they continue with the laws from their "old" country ?

On one hand we promote this cultural diversity and want them to retain their culture and heritage and then scream when they do what their culture does in another country that does not tolerate it ?

You don't want assimilation. Then you have to tolerate how they live don't you ?

Do women's driver license pictures in ME countries all have the same black burqua'd face with just 2 brown eyes showing ? If so and you want this diversity then you have to allow it in your own country.

You can't have it both ways.

I subscribe to the belief that less is more. We should aim to have a smaller population and every country should do their best to become self sufficient regarding food, power and water. If you're in a position where you need to import these things, then you're in a position where you need to go to war.
Corporate greed? in europe? home of marx and socialism? sorry, fact is you just can't have a nation composed almost entirely of old people. Economics, real economics, not the musings of marx pretty much requre a stable population. Most of europe does not have a stable population. Those immigrants are there for a reason.

C'est pas une grande choses. J'aime les gens qui pensent les Africains ou les Musulmans sont un sort d'antichrist contre la France. C'est pas vrai.

(It's not a big thing. I like the people who think the Africans or the Muslims are a sort of antichrist against France. It's not true).

C'es pas comme il y'a des grandes manifestation dans les quartiers chic. Meme pas chic, les quartiers moyen sont toujour agreable.

(It's not like there are big protests in the nicer quarters of town. Not even nice, the middle quarters are still agreeable)

My French is really rusty. I was trying to do a literal translation.

(Mon francais est un peut rouille. J'etais en train de faire une traduction litteralle.)

Yes, multiculturalism sucks if it's a functioning society your after. However, the concepts of identity politics are probably more responsible for the failure of european governments, ours too, to come to terms with a populace that refuses to assimilate.
