Or maybe Fox made an honest mistake in putting together the clip? And the reporter (who almost certainly had not seen CPAC live) spoke to what he saw, not realizing he was watching last year's CPAC?
Mistakes do happen, you know, and it isn't always an attempt to fool the viewers.
But yes, if this really is what Fox broadcast, it is also possible it was a deliberate attempt on their part to influence their viewers.

lol.. Yeah, right! Somehow they just happened to play the audio from last year along with the video from this year. Don't be so gullible - or so blindly loyal - whichever the case may be.

I'm skeptical, Ron Paul is rather irrelevent. He really doesn't threaten anyone. Why would FOX go out of their way to damage him, he isn't a credible Presidential candidate.
WOW. So they played the footage from CPAC 2010 in which Ron Paul was roundly booed, and tried to pass it off as footage from the most recent CPAC, (in which he was cheered.)
It must have been a mistake by an editor who accidently tripped and fell into a stash of old video clips. It happens.

Who told you you that... the media!!
