you remind me of that saying that sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. you know that is a lie.i guarantee you there are some choice words that would hurt and or send you realing if said to you . you are not perfect are beyond having your felling hurt or are you ?????? the point is not how you would feel behind what you do but how how does the person you are doing it toward or offending feel. that is if you are trying to be a christian.do unto others brother or sister, as you would have them do unto you or yours.
It seems that this has never been discussed hear, so I decided to ask. I've always thought that the N-word was much worse, but I want to her what others think, particularly blacks, who would be most offended by either symbol.
The N-Word is worse. It is a shame that a sub culture of music has made the word acceptable.
That word was acceptable in some quarters long before rap (...let's face it, that's what you're talking about) was ever thought of. I heard my parents saying it when i was a kid, and i started using it long before rap became popular.
Besides, back in the Jim Crow days when white use of the word was quite acceptable, how was rap to blame?
Think about what you're saying.
