"Right"?
Collective bargaining is not a right.
Collective extortion is certainly not right, either.

Because they refuse to accept evaluation, they won't compete, they accept no responsibility for the failure of our education system. If the failure we have subject to by the educational system occured in a private enterprise, the business would be........out of business.

More union craziness:

"One of three men charged with vandalizing vehicles at the Chicago Auto Show works for a Pontiac dealership in the south suburbs and told police "he doesn't like Toyota because he doesn't agree with their union policies," a prosecutor said today in court."

"The man who allegedly made the statement, Richard Data, and two other people from Orland Park are accused of smashing and ripping dashboards, slicing seats open, scratching windshields, pyring open speaker guards and breaking turn indicators."

You are 100% correct; there is no denying that. But to strut around as if they're irreplaceable is obnoxious and unwarranted.

Isn't that what all union workers do? "The cars we build aren't selling. The kids we teach are failing. Who cares, just give me my damn paycheck and keep funding my retirement baby!"

Funny you mention the UAW. I just bought a car and my prerequisite was an American made, non-UAW product. I was successful in satisfying that request.
