Not at this point in time. But once the dust settles and the blood is cleaned up then normalcy should return. Cell phones are a good tool for organizing in secret. As far as the internet is concerned, once the genie is out of the bottle, it can never be put back in by any regeme. The people will find a way. Right now, a revolt against a repressive regeme using the tailwind of the egyptian revolution has a low probability of success as the ME despots have learned that any reasonable dialogue with the protestors leads to worldwide validation of their efforts. That's my opinion of the situation.
I would tend to agree as we watch Amadinajad backed the Egyptian protests but fires upon those protesting in Tehran as well. The history of our world is filled with such revolutions.
We would like to see from America to stop monarchy from killing people. They can we know that and you know. But may you as how, if they let human rights organization and other organization talking about Bahrain, if they ask kingdom of Bahrain to withdraw the army from the square and they can do better in their intentions to stop this massacres. We believe that America Administration can do something to Bahrainis.
Understood. Thank you for your clarification. My best wishes for your safety and those of your people.
Bahraini riot police have attacked pro-reform protesters with tear gas and gunfire at a major square and hospital compound in the capital Manama, injuring dozens and sending many more fleeing for safety.
Typical....As protests and uprisings rock the Middle East, many affecting vital US allies, the White House fails to calibrate a uniform response to the crisis.
Barack Obama, the US president, wavered between strong support for protesters in Iran as the government there heavily cracked down on them, to ambiguous statement on Bahrain, where a major US military is based.
The US says it will not dictate events in the region.
Many find the US response disappointing, and some feel the White House will only react strongly to those governments it does not have a stake in.
