Especially getting rid of the oversight of TARP money was a great move. We don't need any regulation in Wall Street baby. Last thing we need is accountability. That is just a waste of taxpayers' money.

Yes, the Democrats will sacrifice the elderly in a petulant fear-mongering move to get their way. Reid and his Democrat Senate could have taken care of these cuts during the past 4 years if they cared about this country. Reid and his Senate Democrats could compromise now if they cared about cutting checks off from the elderly more than their ideology.

Pretty despicable wouldn't you say?

Boehner says spending must be cut, but Senate Democrats won
Compromise? It does not look as if the House is willing to compromise on anything, so be it, it is their call and they will get the credit, good or bad, for the results.

Getting spending under control is fine, BUT it cannot only be what ONE Party wants to cut and spend on and it cannot happen overnight. The two Partys will have to work together or not at all.

Oh now, this is hilarious. Were you saying this when the democrats rammed through a bill 1/6th of the US economy on a party line vote - in both chambers, using vote buying and legislative tricks?

NOW you want to work together?

I think not.

Follow your own advice.
If I have to explain the entire thread to you then you should probably just read more and post less.

As I said the right is not willing to compromise on anything, thanks for proving my point. FYI, I have always wanted them to work together I believe in a balanced government, but when one Party descides they want push it to the point where compomise is out of the question then they need to be taught a harsh lesson, if the GOP continues down the path they are on they will get that lesson, count on it.
