LONDON, Ont. — A Windsor, Ont. couple's fight to bring their gravely ill baby home to die ended in bitter tears Thursday when a Superior Court judge dismissed their appeal to stop doctors from removing the infant's breathing tube at the hospital.

Ont. couple's appeal to bring baby home dismissed (http://www.vancouversun.com/health/couple+appeal+bring+baby+home+dismissed/4304482/story.html - broken link)

How terrible that the parents have no say in their childs life like this.

Yeah, it's worth reading through this entire article, it's not as cut and dried as it appears on first glance. It's a very complicated situation for sure.

Yeah.....they've accepted that their child will die and only want that to happen in the presence of family members.

I don't really understand why the doctor's object to a tracheotomy on the grounds that it may spawn infections and such when he's going to die anyhow. Removing the breating tube will cause him to choke to death....not a very pleasant way to die.
