Yes, that and that instead of having collective bargaining for their benefits that the voters (a.k.a. taxpayers) will have a say at the ballot box as to whether raises are approved. Apparently the unionized teachers do not want their income/benefits to be subjected to the same voter scrutinty as police and firefighters salaries/benefits are usually subjected.

This bill also challenges the requirement of union membership and turns it into "right to work" which is the real reason that Obama, the DNC, and Richard Trumpka have their collectivist panties in a wad.

Welcome to democracy neo-conservative style.

Didn't hear you complaining when the Tea Party were out protesting against a democratically elected government.

Hypocrites ... You bet
Actually I did hear it.I heard a lot of complaining while tea party protest happened. We even had politicians calling us terrorist and such. But yet for some reason this protest is supported by the President. Did you see the president supporting our protest? Did democrats support us protesting?

No one is saying that they can't protest just calling out the double standard here.

Well I think I'd like to see this happen in all the unionized states.
Then what will the Obama supporters say ?

Then once the teachers get their way..who do you think will be next in line ?

Obama is on the side of the Communist Unions. He has drawn the line and is clearly the enemy within as Obama encourages anti-government protests within the individual states.

Impeach Obama now!
Wrong move.
Won't change a thing.
Useless.

As long as you're consenting to the madness, nothing can change.

The unintended consequences is that the unions and community organizing networks shipping in astro-turf protestors will be expending their energy and re$ources on these protests. With re$ources spent what will they have left (other than Soros and the die hard big donor Socialists) with which to support/donate to Obama's re-election campaign?

If the taxpaying public at large continues to support the "right to work" movement in an effort to reduce the cost to local and state governments the entire Communist union movement of "workers of the world unite" fails, big time.

My number may be slightly off, but last I heard the private sector paid an average of about 20% into health care. Last year New Jersey teachers were up in arms over 1.5%. Pathetic.

Then there's pensions, continuous raises, COL increases, etc. Public workers are still better off even with these supposedly radical reforms.
