You know, I always thought other agencies should be halved. I'm more convinced through multiple administrations that our real problem is the State Department. Like the lawyers in the Justice Department that serve at the pleasure of the President and can be let go, I believe the State Department needs the same tough love.

Economic sanctions have a way of hurting the general populace more than the dictator. They can also have the unintended consequence of turning the same people against us.
We need to stay out and not saber rattle.

If there was any pot smoking it was by the brain trust during the WMD invasion of Iraq, this is real life. I have to wonder what Bush would have done, hire some more contractors and invade Libya?

Thew difference is that Libya is a serious rela life confirmed event, not we think......

Empty threats by obama. About as terrifying as clinton's threats against Saddam. That's why Bush had to do the dirty work.

Exactly. Why does it just go unsaid that we have some right to intervene in the affairs of another Nation and violate their sovereignty without approval from the UN?

That's what the treaty we signed requires!

These are tribes! Tribal warfare! There are no "good guys" and "bad guys". They're one step up from the Bronze age.

US stop sticking your nose in the affairs of other countries.....get off your ego trip!
