Exactly right. They get no sympathy, no quarter. They are just an arm of the democrat party.

Wisconsin Teacher Unions | Senate Could End Collective Bargaining Without Dems | The Daily Caller - Breaking News, Opinion, Research, and Entertainment

Quote:
Wisconsin’s Senate can move forward on many pieces of legislation — and could eliminate some or all collective bargaining rights for public sector workers — even without the 14 Democratic state senators who fled to Chicago.

Wisconsin’s Senate needs a quorum, or 20 senators, to proceed on any spending or fiscal business. But a quorum isn’t needed for most non-spending legislation.
Do it.

So...you don't mind if these union members pay nothing for their own pensions and about 5% for their own HC premiums?

So..you're ok with forcing a teacher to join a union in order to work in their chosen profession?
You are so wrong on so many things sanrene.

No one is forced to join the union nor are they forced to pay in order to get a job. Just more republican lies. Look it up if you don't believe me.

Actually, since you're challenging her, please cite your research that refutes it.

Cincinnati, OH (January 21, 2011) – A group of Cincinnati Public Schools employees today filed a federal lawsuit against a local union and the city school district for illegally confiscating union dues from their paychecks in violation of their constitutional rights.

My experience, if you hire on at a union workplace, you must join and pay an initiation fee.
If a place you are working gets union representation, you go along and join or seek employment elsewhere.

No freedom of choice, no compromise.

Really now?

So...a WI teacher can teach at any school she wants without joining the union?

Those union members don't get their dues taken right out of their checks?

They have a say regarding whether they want that to happen?

They are only "forced" if they join a unionized school. My mistake on that. If you don't like unions then find a school system that lets you opt out. Simple as that.

Right...like NONE of them?

Why should qualified teachers be FORCED to join a union that will give their dues to the democrat party?

Here' another thing they will do in the democrats absence;

GOP may bring voter ID to a vote in Dems' absence - JSOnline
