So this is how they plan to stop legislation they don't like. Flee the state, shut the state legislatures down. Oh, those democrats sure do practice what they preach about the democratic process, don't they?

Democrats trigger Statehouse showdown | The Indianapolis Star | indystar.com

Quote:
House Democrats are leaving the state rather than vote on anti-union legislation, The Indianapolis Star has learned.

A source said Democrats are headed to Illinois, though it was possible some also might go to Kentucky. They need to go to a state with a Democratic governor to avoid being taken into police custody and returned to Indiana.
This is what they must do in order to pay the unions back for their YEARS of support.

Truly incredible. And disgusting.

I imagine there were plenty of times the republicans were in the minority, didn't like legislation put forth by the democrats, but stayed and swallowed it, did their jobs.

Too bad the US Senate republicans and House couldn't do that when obamacare was shoved down our throats.

This is typical of the intolerant Democrats. Run and hide when you don't get your way. The party of ignorant infants.

Hmmmm, the REPUBS ran on a platform to give the Rich and Big Busineses massive tax cuts and break the unions for all state workers, I must have missed that? Can anyone provide a link that states that it was the will of the People?

Hope this spreads... cause chaos across the country. Voters will remember.

Let's see how many jobs this will cost.

No link needed - just look at the results of the latest election!! Proof enough. Deflection will not work.

The Rich (otherwise known as people working 80 hours a week and taking risks to start a new business and employ people) and Big Business (also known as employers except for that false prophet Al Gore who duped people into making him a billionaire) all made and should keep most of the money they earned.
This isn't your money, it isn't the government's money, it is mostly the people who earned it's money. There is only so much other people's money and people need to grow up, earn a living and start to live within their ability to earn.
BIG GOVERNMENT UNIONS are far more problematic with their King sized pay, benefits and growth causing massive deficits compared to the real world where people get normal wages.

They scatter like the rats they are. No suprise. I am just hoping for major repercussions to hit them all.

Look at what the Democrats did to the Republicans when they had control of the house and senate.....look at the bills they crammed down the country's throat without working with the Republicans - just because they could.

Now the tables are starting to turn (thank God) and the Democrats true colors are showing and people are taking note.

You should read about a Democrat called Newt Gingrich. He actually shut down the Federal Government. Dang Dems. What i'm wondering is how the Republicans let him get away with it, since they hate this kind of thing.

Exactly what I was about to post.
Historic losses after the Dope for supposed Hope pulled his BS over the feedback from people.

Independents hate him now.
They are going to hate him and Democrats even more with $5 gas coming.
