It's easy to whine and gripe when you're not driving the car. It's easy to be critical of the person driving. It's easy to create problems or just to be a problem. It's just a lot harder to actually offer up real solutions to real problems.

So the Iraq War is OK after all?

Patriot Act and GITMO in our long-term best interest?

And how exactly did you arrive at that conclusion? Perhaps that is what you want the world to believe?

As for Patriot Act and Gitmo, since when have "conservatives" supported the idea of their termination? In fact, virtually all republicans in the house voted for extension of suspension of bill of rights about ten days ago. Only a few conservatives like Ron Paul stood against it (HR 514). But in your defense, those majority republicans had support of a few democrats too.

The US constitution makes for a good reading, after all.

I don't support any of those things. I don't see what they have to do with my post, either. Perhaps you would like to enlighten me as to the connection, because right now I'm thinking you're throwing up red herrings.

The OP is trying to criticize the President by pointing out that almost a year ago a dictator who had begun repairing US-Libya relations under the previous President remarked that he considered the current President to be a friend. How that reflects on the current situation was not established by the OP, who instead left it wide open, because sometimes character assassination is better achieved by suggestion rather than by open accusation. It's dirty, but still covered under freedom of speech.

Wacky Gaddafi.

I don't agree with 90% of the garbage that spews out of Obama's mouth, but to correlate a mental midget who sports a bad jheri-curl and tacky dresses with Obama is a big, big stretch.

Yes, I would imagine he would think that, what with obama's mentors, wright and Calypso Louis, so close to the Libyan dictator.

Well, perhaps we now know why obama has not really come forward, hasn't even mentioned his friend's name while condemning the bloodshed.

After all, obama IS the first US president to meet with Moamar.

There's that "smart power" again.

This ranks "high" on the Unintentional Comedy scale..

Time for a tinfoil reinforcement..
