Does Obama have a plan other than to tax the oil companies?

Anyone?

If you wish for a dictator, move to a country that has one? I've been to Singapore, and it has everything that makes it a conservative wonderland.

hussein obama has stated it was his plan for everything to skyrocket so I believe this is exactly what he wants. All dictators have found it easier to control and minipulate desperate hungry people.

the increase is blamed on the chaos in Libya, where some major oil companies have shut down their oil operations.
The price of oil soared Wednesday to $100 US per barrel, before closing at $98.10.

plus how could it be his plan if we had an overnight rise of three cents here in canada too and we are the lucky ones because we still get cheap gas here in north america compared to europe

You failed to identify Obama's plan to deal with skyrocketing oil & fuel prices. Why?

Seriously, I'd like to know what it is. I figured some of the intellectual elitists might be able to explain it here. Go ahead, don't be shy. Is it not his place to provide leadership?

In 2008 crude oil reached over $140 a gallon. Where was our outrage at George W. Bush Jr.?

This is just another stupid hateful rant where your ignorance and bigotry has overridden whatever intelligence you may or may not have.

No one government controls international oil or commodity prices. They are based on the availability of supply and the requirements of demand, and the amount of speculative money in the market. The current spike in oil is based on two principle driving forces things; a worldwide economic recovery and the continued growth of emerging markets and their increased energy consumption, and the current political and social unrest in the Middle East which may affect the worldwide supply of crude oil.
On day your complaining about the government is trying to exert too much control over people and the economy now you’re b****thing because it’s not. You are so blinded by your hatred you can’t see your own hypocrisy.
