I think this video shows that Brian Williams is a corporate shill. America has chose its future where we will walk on the shores of a lifeless sea. People in expensive Brooks Brothers suits will will bloviate on what a shame it will all be.
I was just at Port St. Joe Beach, FL at a restaurant that said it had no oysters of any kind, frozen or otherwise, and grouper season was cut short, due to what they never said. Now, Port St. Joe is far away from Louisiana's coast, but there are repercussions this far east. I think the full effect has not been felt and there will be consequences for years to come.
I follow environews at Care2 and found a source for updates that told me more than I perhaps wanted to know about the blowout and its 'management'. Try Florida Oil Spill Law. How do I know ? I blog news and news resources opitslinkfest.blogspot.com
Once I run out of the stash of my tuna fish (purchased right after spill announced) I only eat fish caught in my own pond.
Yep, that will save you. Not. What, you don't think the water in your pond doesn't have run-off or other nasty stuff? We are all screwed, the only thing that determines who goes first is genes. Some people think genes determines who gets cancer. Wrong. Genes determines who doesn't get cancer. Or, more accurately, how long an individual can hold out before their fast dividing cell nexus caves under the onslaught of mutation triggers.
The Professor in the clip gave you the data, you choose to ignore it and act as if the Gulf was never populated until after the spill
I'm not ignoring anything, you're suggesting there was just as many people going over these beaches with fine tooth comb before this happened? Add to that it's more likely to be reported by general public now.
Let me simplify it for you, we'll give 1 person 12 hours to explore 100 miles of beach line and they find 1 dead dolphin. We give a group of ten 12 hours on another 100 miles and they find 10. Do you think it's because there is more dead dolphins or simply because the group of ten was able to cover a wider area?
Common sense.
