In addition, over 200 local officials have signed a petition opposing Walker's efforts to cut collective bargaining. The reason? They believe it guts their right to local control over community issues, plus they believe that gutting collective bargaining does nothing to address the state's budget issues.

Not to mention the Madison Chamber of Commerce's concerns over the attempt to ram this through...

200? That's a very small minority of the over 3,000 units of local government in WI.

Clearly, local governments DO NOT support the public employee unions. ...Might have something to do with the fact that taxpayers do not want to pay any more.

He is making enemies all over the State and Nation with his actions, he will be lucky to not get recalled by the voters before all is said and done.

Not the correct question.

The correct question is compared to how many supporting it?

Really? Let's take a look at the reality of the situation...

Gallup reports that 71% of Americans don't want to pay more taxes.

How do the public employee unions reconcile that with their expectation to be able to demand more from the taxpayers?

Let's keep quoting Gallup--61% of the public is opposed to cutting collective bargaining rights, including 40% of republicans. The unions have agreed to take the budget cuts, yet the governor insists on cutting their right to bargain on nonmonetary issues. Your argument doesn't fly here--it doesn't fly no matter how many times you repeat it, and it doesn't fly with the majority of voters. There isn't even a mandate on this from Republicans. Walker and the radical R's are over reaching big time, and it's going to backfire on them.
