I'm confused on why corporations care if PUBLIC servants don't get collective bargaining "rights"?

They are the exact opposite of freedom.

Were you looking at the same video? The people complaining how they desecrated the memorial with their garbage were agast the clueless little leftists had no idea what they had done.
I watched the video. The people complaining were rude, aggressive, and unrelenting. Meanwhile the polite protesters listened, immediately agreed, and followed through.

BTW FYI, protesting is freedom of speech, the most important freedom we have! This is why it is in the 1st amendment of the constitution. The same constitution that our soldiers fought and died for.

Just because you disagree with the message of these protesters, does not give you the right to determine that their voices should not be heard!

That's because you confuse corporations with taxpayers.

Both are taxpayers actually (officers of C corps are double taxpayers), but I'm just kind of perplexed why pro-government folks feel as though they need protection from the government?

Nobody was trying to stop any message from being heard, did you not notice that they've plastered every square inch of that capital building with their trash? That memorial is different, I don't expect you to understand.

In part because Republicans are also attempting to dismantle the National Labor Relations Board. Once these two entities are gotten rid of and "right to work" is the "new normal" what right do you think the average working person will have in the work place.

Wisconsin is only part of the GOP war against unions

"..But the truly breathtaking measure was an amendment by Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.) to defund the NLRB - closing it down altogether - until the fiscal year ends in September. The measure failed Thursday because 60 Republicans joined every Democrat present in voting no, but three-quarters of House Republicans - 176 of them, including Majority Leader Eric Cantor (Va.) and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (Calif.) - voted yes. In other words, the House leadership supported abolishing the right of American workers - in the private sector no less than the public sector - to bargain collectively.."

So you didn't watch it, because no one that did could come away with your interpretation of the incident.

They ARGUED with the couple, claiming they needed the space to showcase their garbage, really just dismissing the complaint that it was disrespectful to paper a war memorial with their BS. Not until the last girl came forward did it seem like they would get action.

Union workers make up a very small percentage of American workers overall and a lot of us who aren't in labor unions have fine jobs, good pay, great benefits and all the things that a lot of unions demand. A lot of pro-union people claim that without unions nobody would have weekends off, sick leave, OT pay, etc etc etc which is complete BS. 30 or 40 years ago when unions were needed that may have been the case but not anymore.

They politely agreed to take it down. Why is this such an issue? Geeze!
