Since when are salaries, pensions and benefits to employees who have worked to earn them considered "profits"?
Over how many individual employees is that $11 billion spread?
As to whether "the Koch brothers [will] earn anywhere near $11 billion on any supposed WI power plant purchases that may or may not even happen", I'm speculating yes. $11 billion is a drop in the bucket for these guys.
Can you explain why you'd rather see that kind of money pumped into private, for-profit industry than into the household incomes of state workers who have worked for the requisite time to earn those benefits as compensation?
They don't pay in nearly as much as they will get paid upon retirement. That's called a profit.
I would like to see massive amounts of money pumped into the private sector by private employers (not stimuli from Obama) to create jobs and get us back on track. Jobs created by the gov't are a loss to the taxpayer, fiscally speaking.
You'd need to take your own advice on that subject before dishing it. You can't articulate a credible grievance so you point it at "Unions". Your dress is tucked into your panty hose for all the world to see. Keep talking.

No, that's called compensation for work performed, delayed until retirement.

TOPIC: KOCH BROTHERS SETTING UP A LOBBYING OFFICE IN MADISON AND APPARENTLY ALREADY LOOKING TO FILL NEW MANAGEMENT POSITIONS IN WISCONSIN POWER PLANTS.

It's called deferred compensation plan. In other words, unlike board rooms who pay themselves up front in contracts for work they have yet to perform, union workers invested their lives in 20-30 yrs of labor for deferred compensation. No robbery on their part. Stop lying. If you drove a car for 30yrs and another bill is due as term and condition, you can't blame the car for where you steered it or how you failed to manage the terms of the agreement.
Privatize the rewards socialize the risk. These people actually worked for that pension and calling them deadbeats after the fact is foul beyond belief.
Well, the money just isn't there. So, what's your solution? Ream the taxpayers, which includes a HUGE proportion that are middle class - or ream private industry and those who create wealth and watch even more jobs disappear?
Your point should be your point, but it appears the 20yr negative ad campaign is passing for an identity in GOP land. You've loudly announced to me you're entirely empty handed. Just more peanut gallery whining about things you aren't willing to understand.
I understand plenty. It is you who refuses to see what is happenning.
The dems were handed their walking papers in record numbers all accross the country this last election.
Most states are broke due to due massive promises over the years by primarily democrats.
The time for the pendulum to swing back toward the right is at hand.
"When you keep your cool when everyone else looses theirs, maybe YOY haven't grasped the situation.
Who makes that determination do you think? Ahh, Gov Mubarak Walker.
