Instead of asking "why are they making so much?" people should really be asking themselves, "Why am I making so little?"

And this is yet another reason I don't vote Republican. They hate teachers and anyone who works in the education system. They think we're worthless lazy bums who manipulate kids toward some "liberal agenda" and contribute nothing positive to society.

Anti-intellectualism

Violent anti-intellectualism is common to the rise and rule of authoritarian political movements, such as Italian Fascism, Stalinism in Russia, Nazism in Germany, the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia, and Iranian theocracy.
nobody is turning sociaty against teacher. we love teacher to teach and not join a political party to line their pockets because they gain control of a certian political party. teach the kids take home your pay check. stop trying to steal from tax payers is that to much to ask of a teacher!

Nah, the Republicans are clearly going to war with teachers because they're at war with unions of all kinds. Personally, I would be okay with teachers not having a union. But people are going to eventually see why unions exist in the first place the longer Republicans stay in power. They just can't help themselves. They're a party that supports capitalism to the extreme, to a point that even ordinary people don't.
