how about a china and russian peace keeping force? I am pretty sure china has not had a major role where they go in and help.
I mean when has china seem any type of combat peace keeping mission where they have troops on the ground. this would be a test for their forces because we know how the russia/soviets did in afghanistan in the 80's which is about the same as we did after 10 years there also.
If china goes into a U.N. sanctioned mission in Libya it would be interesting to see how they get control back esp with those brought in mercenaries that are gunning down the protestors also china buys alot of oil from Libya so if the help overthrow Gaddafi and his regime and they could work out a business deals with the south to keep the economy going while elections take place.
plus seeing commuinst china take down a brutal dictator to help people gain democracy would be interesting
Oh yeah, and first he's not doing anything about Libya...but now he's making secret (on you tube), super-secret plans to invade!!!!! The man is busy, I tell ya' ~
Don't forget the Star Wars theme music. The theme music tells you it's really, truly, honest to goodness true. Theme music, yeah baby!
CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — Venezuela's government, which has forged close ties to Moammar Gadhafi, called Sunday for dialogue between allies and adversaries of the Libyan leader amid a deadly crackdown on protesters.
Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro also said Venezuela would oppose any decision by the U.N Security Council opening the way for a military intervention in Libya — which leading-decision makers in the United Nations have so far ruled out.
"We hope they know how to find the paths toward national dialogue; that they know how to find the paths toward national reconciliation," Maduro said of the opposing camps in Libya.
President Hugo Chavez's opponents strongly criticized Maduro, saying he should be condemning the violence unleashed by Gadhafi's embattled regime — and focusing on healing wounds within deeply polarized Venezuela.

that is messed leave it to hugo chavez to say that he supports Gadhafi while every other country condems Gadhafi's actions. it's funny this is the first time the U.N. has agreed on something and had a fast response from every nation I mean he would oppose a U.N. no fly zone so Gadhafi's fighters in can still go bomb his own people and hired 30,000 hired mercenaries to shoot protestors in the street.
And if Bush was still President, you Conservatives would be cheering, just admit your hate of everything not like yourselves and be done with it. Conservatives and Muslim extremists have a lot in common.

I saw that on Fox nearly 2 hours ago. Maybe you need to spend more time there so you can be "up" on what is going on.
Well... I don't watch FOX News regularly... Only with a grain of salt while flipping channels...
