Let me get this right. Are you blaming Bush for what happened in Egypt?

Did Obama not imply that the Republicans are the enemy?
Obama: I shouldn't have used the word 'enemies' - The Oval: Tracking the Obama presidency

Aren't Tea Party members all racist? Aren't the businesses fat cats?

The list goes on and on..

Were you not just complaining about Egypt? Without a strong military, what would you do about Egypt and Lybia?

6. A controlled mass media.
Does not meet criteria. They dominate talk radio, but not the rest of media.
Do you really want quotes on the left's opinion of Sarah Palin? You have no idea about what you are talking about.

Talk radio is bigger than MSNBC? CNN? ABC?

Did not think Janet Napolitano was with a Tea Party.

Ah.. fail again. Palin is not in the White House.
And what's wrong with prayer in schools and 10 commandments in public?

Why can't the people decide? Or would you rather have the minority in power make the decision?

This is just my opinion, but I don't think 'intellectual' is something that describes most on the left.

ACORN supports only one Party, so not sure why you are letting this one slide.

I will avoid using the term fascist by describing the Republicans as the Party of the Aristocrats and the Tea Party as fools that have been seduced by the Aristocrats. The goal of both parties is to create a perfect agreement between the financiers and the politicians in order to protect the very upper class from any loss of power or privilege and to be able to pass this power and privilege on to their children. These parties are well on their way to reinstating an exclusive feudal system of the rich, powerful and privileged.

The rest of us will be relegated to the disenfranchised lower management, professional, worker and slave class. Look at the pre- civil war south as an example of what this country is becoming. Cavaliers’ ruling over slaves and tenant farmers as part of their white Christian birthright is the long term goal of the party of privilege.

Not fascist but Feudal.

In Fascist regimes the educators and unions were the first targets.

That's why universities are fascist, or in my opinion Stalinistic, these days: they don't want to be the "first targets". They want to help with the targeting. Get rid of all dissenters or iconoclasts: that's why everybody who is "well educated" is as corrupt as hell. Just look at our corporations and politicians.

No they don't. Fascism is direct opposite of Marxism. Heck, it is quite opposite of communism and socialism in general. For this, the least we could do is take the words directly from the leader of the Italian Fascist party in 1930s?

"Fascism is definitely and absolutely opposed to the doctrines of liberalism, both in the political and the economic sphere."

"The Fascist negation of socialism, democracy, liberalism, should not, however, be interpreted as implying a desire to drive the world backwards to positions occupied prior to 1789, a year commonly referred to as that which opened the demo-liberal century."

Guess why 1789...

Easy to see that you can't tell the difference between political opposition and hatred.

with leftists, there is no difference in this instance. the shrieks of hatred are impossible to miss.

would you like to see one of P&OC's resident leftists clamoring for the torture-murder of glenn beck, including his being blinded by a red-hot poker? just say the word.

You people are from Mars.

The TEA party is about reducing government's influence over our lives, reducing government spending, and lowering the debt and deficit.

You can slap together all the wild and crazy straw dogs you like, and you will always be wrong.

It has always been the left in this country that want more government power, more government control and fewer freedoms and rights for the individual.

Who educated you? Fascism and Communism are euphemisms for "dominate and destroy" or "collectivism". Both have the same mission and the same results: their stratagems are only slightly different. BTW fascism is a general term for totalitarianism for a lot of people. Most people do not associate the word exclusively with Italy's fascist party.
