Grayson is one of the few leaders that I have respect for because he is not a partisan establishment a$$ kisser. Though he is a {D} I was glad he re won his seat back and since then has been very effective on passing some amendments with a {R} controlled congress. Here is his take on Syria which he implies it does not matter which side was responsible the U S should stay out since there is no national security interest.

The vid is only 5 mins long please take the time to listen to what Grayson says before voting in the poll or responding to the thread. If you disagree what threat is Syria to the U S and your reasons why the U S should intervene.

The only way Syria becomes a national security threat to the US is IF WE DO ATTACK.

We part ways on most issues but I give him credit for not taking the party line everytime or backing Obama no matter what. He rasies a good question of how is Syria bogged down in a civil war a threat to the U S. Getting involved brings more problems then it will solve.

Funny how that has been a common theme in recent years...

Alan Grayson's bark is much worse than his bite, but on this issue he's one of the more sensible people.

I am not familiar with Rep Grayson. If he represents his constituents on this issue, then he is doing his job.

He is not my rep.

Hate to hi jack my own thread but could not resist but Grayson has been biting. He has passed more amendments then anyone in the House. He lobbies the {R} leaders personally and thus has a coalition of the opposite party.

Slate Labels Rep. Grayson

America's role in the Mideast, regardless of which party has been in power, has been a record of one long mess, punctuated with catastrophes. I have no faith that any sort of intervention in Syria would mark a change in direction.

I like Grayson and was thrilled that he's back.

Syria's issues are internal, if they are using Chem Weapons on their own people this should be a UN issue and not a USA issue.

I will say it's frightening that they have CW and I'm sure many nations that are nearer are very concerned.
