Have you seen the polling data? Why in the world would they be in a panic? I am quite certain Walker believes he is making a mistake. Unfortunately for him, he's stuck. He can't back down now.
If democracy were allowed to be in action, Walker would be tossed out of his office. The problem is, that democracy takes a back seat while republican form of governance is protecting the politicians, so that buys Walker some time.
If we had a democracy politicians would get booted from office every six months.

Some of the parties involved in this dispute need to awake from their deluded dream and realize... there is no money. Screaming I want, I want, I want ad infinitum will do absolutely nothing to change that basic, inescapable fact.
Yet another poll ...this out yesterday confirms Americans squarely on the side of the unions and how out of touch Pat Buchanan is.
The unions must win, because unions are about the last thing working class Americans have to take on Government and the Media, both wholly owned by corporations and the ultra rich.
Obviously you are wrong here, as the gov't is, in this case, wholly owned by unions. Walker is taking a stand against that trend in WI.
