When compared to the lineup of Republican candidates for President and their respective "concern" or lack of the same for Black Americans I seriously doubt that Obama's stated policy of not defending DOMA is going to be a swing issue for all but the most socially conservative of Black Americans.
Your Ignorance speaks so loudly.......I will just let it speak for itself.
Wow! you just gotta come right out with all your tolerance right out of the gate, thought I could post this in such a way that we could have avoided all that.....evidently not! I believe Huckabee was stating statistics that say blacks and hispanics overwhelmingly support DOMA. "Within the white community it's about 56 percent, 65 percent in the Hispanic, 75 in the African American community,"
Where did any one gather that Huckabee was going for the black vote ? He is talking about Obama choosing not to defend DOMA! Watch the interview people!
Not an issue, though Obama might get impeached for not doing his duty under oath, the Congress is intending to go to court and defend this Act.
Ah... the President takes an oath to support and defend the Constitution not every hair brained piece of legislation that slips through the Congress. And, when such legislation is seen by the Executive Branch as being contrary to the Constitution, as a co-equal branch of government, it has a constitutional obligation to not only refuse to defend such legislation but to openly oppose it.

I hope they do. It'll once again show that Republicans care more about culture wars than economic issues.
