Only a hardcore American right winger could argue that the union fight here is for the benefit of "thugs" and the "privileged'.

Milwaukee Archbishop states unions are a "moral choice" and reflect "principles of justice"

So what is the point that the catholic church supports unions? The catholic church has certainly had their share of scandal and problems. I don't think it means a thing.

Lots of churches back them--we had clergy speaking out from different denominations at our local rally as well.

I'm an atheist but even I can admit the Church has a Century long record in sticking up for the little guy. And here they are again doing just that.

Will their reasoning be lost on you?

Of course. You are filled with malice toward fellow Americans trying to better their family's livelihoods at the expense of corporate profits or tiny increases in taxes.

I got what you were saying . I think you're right though--there are lots of Christians who don't want to walk the walk, but they talk the talk until it challenges them to actually care about people and justice. Big business controlling elections isn't fair for anyone...

Your reasoning? Lost on me?
No. I get your reasoning.

I have no malice for the poor misguided sheep who follow a union blindly. I actually feel sorry for them. I do have malice for union thugs, and what they are attempting to do to our country. They should be ashamed of themselves.

And I would be ashamed of myself if I couldn't stand on my own feet and hid behind the skirts of a union.
