Consider the Irony......

Obama wants every citizen to prove they have Health Care but Obama doesn't want you to have to prove you're a citizen to vote

No, diversity is a GOOD thing.

Montanans are damned proud they're not Utahans.

You don't think that could ever happen in America?

Well, you might want to brush up on the Real ID Act because it is going
to go into effect on May 11, 2011 unless something is done to stop it.

I'm the poster child for the guy who does not like life's hassles. For example; not only do I not like the hassle of doing my taxes, I don't like the hassle of taking all my tax information to Liberty Tax. It's just too much trouble. After all, I've got the internet to play on.

Having said all of that, I don't have a problem with some national ID card. I'll be it'd have a bar code on it and everything. Folks would have to display it before being hired or maybe getting a driver's license. Sounds okay to me. Maybe their be fewer illegal immigrants in front of me in line at Dairy Queen. And that would mean less hassle.

Eventually the argument for chip implants will be that the cards can be lost, stolen or copied and it's only for your own protection.
'chip implants' - exactly, I was wondering when someone would start using his brain - hard to find that on this board.

For convenience lovers, this is a boon!

Some people trust their Government more than they could ever trust themselves.

Unconditional love, that's a Liberal thing.

It will be much more convenient and easier to deploy Manchurian Candidates once everyone is fitted with a chip implant.

I think an ID card is just logical.

It looks like brainy people aren't in touch with reality, and where the future is. With or without a national ID, expect RFID to be a part of IDs.

Anyone have some extra tinfoil to spare, I seem to be running short?
