They get excited because the majority of people have gay leanings, they do not know this for the most part, but that is why there are cheer leaders at football games. Men getting excited watching men grab each other, tight pants, hugging etc. The cheer leaders divert this leaning from becoming reflective (of course, this diversion is in many aspects of our culture). Men hunt together, camp together, drinking buddies, etc, etc ,etc. Women-sewing circles, hair dressing shops, etc, etc. Life would not be possible if most of the population was not somewhat gay. Ellen allows this gay-ness to come out in a sanctioned setting that is safe, just like cheer leaders at games. When this country eventually declares being gay to be alright and normal, eventually much of this barrier will come down; I have read that 100 per cent gay makes up about an actual 20 percent of the population, so it seems to me that another 30 per cent, at least, are somewhere on that side of the curve. That is a big audience for Ellen. Who knows, someday, down this road, we may even become as civilized as the ancient Greeks and mentor young boys into manhood and prepare them for the ruling of the city, well, partly through the adults having sex with them. It was the time of Classicism after all.
When she dances over a coffee table? I this some sort of metaphor?
I don't watch but was channel surfing and seen this and wonder what all the excitement is about...
