Well, maybe after the government takes its cut of that $273,000 in taxes, and she runs through the rest (because it won't be enough to set her up for the rest of her life), she may eventually learn something...if only because I imagine she'll have a tough time getting a job. Incompetence simply doesn't look good on a resume. Especially when large sums of money tend to disappear in your presence.

It would be nice if we could remove the last vestige of institutionalized racism on the books (meritocracy only, no need for quota's based on race/ gender etc). It would also be nice if good old boy networks, no matter their color/ gender/ creed etc would be addressed head on. Oligarchy class over reaching it's influence is power concentrated into too few hands. That's the real argument. Not rich vs poor, men vs women, black vs white blah blah blah. When they're operating on a different set of rules contrary to the rules applicable to the masses injustice cannot stand.

Unless you're a republican crook, then you get invited to have a zealot talk show and dance with the stars.

Public school superintendents are grossly overpaid anyway. It's almost more lucrative than being a major hedge fund manager, CEO, or professional athlete. One superintendent where I used to live signed a contract for $7,000,000 a year while first year teachers were making $28,000 a year, something is wrong with that.

I'll see what I can find on the net, the story was on a local news station that does a segment on taxpayer abuse. The story was brought to light, people got furious & the superintendent & school board cut his salary to a paltry $1,000,000 a year.

Save the bull**** for Free Republic or Yahoo. The highest paid school superintendent in New York state got a check for $386,868! Not even in the ball park, hell the universe, of your alleged superintendent.

If you didn't get it, it was a terribly corrupt school district that was nearly taken over by the state. In fact that supt. is now in prison for non-payment of taxes on a lot of that income.
