The only thing surpsingly is that NYC has much rate of violent crime than the typical America so it actually made the news.

In Downtown Los Angeles shootings like this are a very, very common event that doesn't even warrant news coverage.

Not surprised, but at least NYC isn't like Los Angeles county which had 506 homicides in just over 7 months.

NYC homicide and shooting rates are fraction of Chicago. Chicago has tallied 3,035 shot and 549 homicides in just a little over 7 months.

LOL, honestly, I expected this to be happening when the Wars on Terror were at its prime, and perpetrator by terrorists.

Instead it happening post War on Terror, but individuals who could not be further removed from international terrorism and in fact being enabled by our own citizenry.

This country is so messed up, its not even funny.

Holy Crapola! When I saw 506 in 7 months, it sounded like a heck of a lot. So I did the math. That comes down to less than 2 a day. What we are looking to beat is a figure of 65 per day for a population of 60 million.

But in any case, 506 and 549 deaths in only two cities is shocking! But hang on, that's only the homicides by shooting. What are the actual homicide numbers?

Don't try to be clever now! I had to chuckle at your post. Just so true!

But yeah. And yet there are still dumbasses calling for stricter gun controls, like making it illigal to use a gun in a crime and ... Like those laws don't already exist!

Yup. Crims don't care about laws. That's basically the definition of criminal. (Not quite, I know but you get what I mean).

Good lord, what crazy, over the top web sites do you follow? I ask because I want to see them for myself! I'm kinda bored with following InfoWars and Natural News.

There were two recent shootings in time square.

Until they bring back stop and frisk, there will continue to be shootings and false alarms.

Is this satire?? I'm not familiar with The US Sun...

From the article: "The loud noise that people thought was gunfire was actually a barricade being knocked over, according to NBC.

The abrupt noise sent people scattering in the area around 6pm on Sunday near 46th Street and 7th Avenue.

A man dressed up as Bumblebee from the Transformers movie was injured in the chaos, according to The Daily News."

What bullets flew?

Whoops.

It seems like they updated the story and the investigation concluded it was barricades and not bullets.

Will you ever learn your lesson before quickly posting something for the purpose to make the Democrats look bad or stupid? It ends up looking more like a bad reflection upon yourself, rather than the Democrats.
