tax credits are not subsidies. nor are they are not indirect subsidies. a direct subsidy is when the govt actively gives you money. an indirect subsidy is when a govt limits your liability eg BP and other oil companies in the gulf. another indirect subsidy is when govt pays for infrasstructure directly benefitting a company. it could be argued that roads and highways are an indirect subsidy to the oil companies and automakers etc. when the govt allows you to keep some of your own money, that is not a subsidy

i have always been of the opinion that osama is a semi retired actor from palm beach. occassionally he makes a few short movies but he generally likes to bask in the sunshine. he enjoys pizza, going to the movies and has eliot spitzers madam on speed dial. while i'm not a truther, i just don't believe there is a global conspiracy. a group of guys were pissed off and they attacked us. end of story
