Of course cost cutting is the last resort for the left. A last resort that never comes. Well, the day of reckoning is here.

On what planet? How are private sector employees getting the shaft? Are you talking about those union heavy industries that no longer exist? Unions killed manufacturing in the US, is your goal to chase every company out of the US? Unions skew wages and work rules as to make business virtually impossible to conduct. They nearly killed the auto industry. Private industry employees have every opportunity to form unions, yet after seeing what unions have done, they have elected to leave in droves. Union membership is way down.

got the shaft from the employeers???..you mean have a JOB, from their employers

or are you refering to things like pensions in the private sector...the blame on that one goes to the YUPPIES...they didnt want pensions..they wanted 401k or something MOBILE for their upwardly mobile selves...and employers gave in to THEIR WISHES

Now that statement is just plain stupid.

What do you know about being a CEO? Do you realize what it takes to run a company? Do you think they just sit in a plush office, smoke cigars and collect a huge salary? These are the hardest working people in any corporation. They work long hours, and they carry a huge responsibility. All any "worker" (to use the unions socialist term for the butt crack on the production floor) has to do is put nut "A" on bolt "B" all day and collect his $40/hr wage plus benefits. I've seen the assembly plant a Lordstown, OH. They basically push buttons for $40/hr (or more).

You wish, chump. We support him. We are hoping that he doesn't give in. He is doing the right thing. People cannot afford this gravy train that public employees are on. That party is over. It is bankrupting every state in the union.

I know. These Democrats are cowards, and they are in collusion with the union thugs. They are destroying our Repulican form of government, and they know it. This is mob rule. And the Union thugs have done over 7 Million in damage to the State House, which the taxpayers will have to pay for!

I don't think your opinion will be how the majority of Americans will see it.
I'm looking forward to 2012 also. We will finish cleaning up after the Democrats who are trying to destroy this nation. We will have the Senate. And the White House.

The unions had a choice, accept modest changes or layoffs. They made their choice.
They did. Too bad for the many families they are hurting by their bad behavior.
