I think that one has to look back at the era of prohibition in America to understand why the black murder rate is so high. When prohibition against alcohol was enacted, in a matter of few years the murder rate in America, among whites, skyrocketed. It was the result of poor disenfranchised whites, many immigrants, seeing getting liquor to those who desired it as a means to move up economically. Soon the competition for control of bootleg territory escalated levels of violence not only in bootlegging, but the overall culture.

When prohibition ended, the murder rate dropped dramatically. Today there are many drugs prohibited by law and today disenfranchised groups see getting these drugs to consumers as means of making a living and just like in the past the competition for markets escalates the level of violence in the culture.

The more something happens the more it becomes socially acceptable, as a general rule. The drug trade created the rise in murders which altered the culture in the African American community to the degree that those who existed in the “streets” saw murder as the acceptable and expected response to transgressions and disagreements.

Being consistently demeaning, hateful, spiteful, resentful and condescening based on racial motivations are examples of bigotry.

There is a saying:

If you have to ask you already know.

I'm not scared in the least.

you, scarlet oharra, high cotton, randy, etc. etc. are the usual suspects in these black discussions who have absolutely nothing to contribute but everything to whine about.

You're also the same group of people who will talk sideways about African Americans out of one corner of your mouth and then talk about how much more respectful/studious/hard-working Africans are than African Americans are out the other corner when you all know damn well that you don't see any difference between them when you pass by them on the street, and then have the nerve to act like you aren't the same people making a billion threads about why Africa is "uncivilized". For all the "complements" you people have about Africans and their culture, you don't ever seem to connect the dots. What culture do you think African Americans had before White Americans stripped them of it? Martian?

You're the same people who complain every January 15th about the existence of MLK day for no reason other than because a black person gets a holiday. You ***** about the "misogynistic and violent" black culture but scoff at positive black role models.

You're the same people who scoff at the impact of slavery on blacks but probably don't know an African American with a last name that isn't Smith/Johnson/Jackson/Lee/Williams or another English name. Most of you don't know any African Americans personally at all.

You're the same people who snicker at the black dropout rate but cry foul when blacks go to college and claim they're affirmative action babies who didn't actually work for it (read: they're "lazy"). You're the same people who call HBCUs "diploma hand-out centers" while knowing that Morehouse is the #1 liberal arts college in the country.

You're the same people who claim that America is too politically correct on one hand but try to paint the term "racist" as a pejorative because too many conservative politicians get caught being racist and are called out for it.

Any questions?
