California police: 13-year-old girl ran away in fear of arranged marriage in Pakistan, parents lied about her disappearance - Jihad Watch

So often we hear the Muslim apoligists on this forum dismiss stories like this when they happen in Indonesia, the Middle East, or other parts of the Muslim world as "their country, their laws" and they tell us that it can't happen here in America. Well, it does happen here in America. Islam recognizes no national boundaries as they are an invention of man and Allah's law is to be made supreme over all the world. People need to quit making excuses for these people and take astand. I hope the parents are charged with every law they violated and I hope this little girl is not forced to return to live with them agaisnt her will.

It is a cultural problem rather than an Islamic one. The UK has the same problem with people of Pakistani origin. But, it does not tend to happen with muslims from other parts of the world.
