There is no money. Paying into social security was never a guarantee that you would receive a check. If there was an income guarantee there is no way that Bill Clinton would have allocated that money to other things.
You might want to include boomers as well. They are just starting to hit 65 this year.

This is somethign new. In fact if you keep up with it;medicare and medicaid are inmcu worse shape in the future. Especially medicaid has it's not funded in anyway by those who receive it other than the general fund both state and federal.Medcaid esepcailly on the state level as millon are scheduled in the new healthcare law to be forced into the system.If it goes thru as mandated than many more entitlents are in even much more danger of being cut than any of these three as they are purely taxpayer general funded and of lessor priority.

As for the Xer's, and Yer's? .. heh .. they might actually have to innovate and/or learn critical thinking on the fly in order to survive ..

SS has always been a type of savings plan, even after taken from a savings account to a transfer payment situation, by paying in a portion of wages while they labored in order to keep those who didn't save otherwise in basic sustenance living conditions. Are you saying those who value honor and integrity will take the money of others and then state they will never get those savings back as basic living payments?
Feel free to try it, but for the people who are living off of the labor of those working now and state freely they should expect nothing when they stop their labor...be sure that you are willing to live on the streets.
