2nd amendment guarantees the right to protect ourselves from a tyrannical government. So why is Obama in favor of taxing ammo, is he planning something, what is his fear?

It doesn't matter because its likely just rehtoric to the anti-gun crowd. It has zero chance of goig anywhere in congress. Obam ais a typical liberal and thier patform is always anti-legal guns ;pure and simple.

There is no doubt in my mind that the gun lobby pushes these rumors themselves. The huge spike in gun and ammo sales was due to a very smart game they played to make gun owners panic....and of course, spend billions on stuff that wasn't going anywhere to begin with. I work with several clowns who bought into it. And i belittle them mercilessly about it every chance i get.
